Oversize transport permits in Indiana are issued by the Department of Transportation. The shipping of oversize loads is permitted from ½- hour before sunrise to ½-hour after sunset, Monday through Saturday. No oversize transports are allowed on major holidays, including Easter Friday and the entire weekend.

Oversize loads that are 10-feet in width or more, or exceed length limits, require 7-foot wide signs with 18-inch letters posted in the front and back. The maximum allowable limits for oversized loads in Ohio are:

Maximum Height: 14 feet 6 inches;

Maximum Width: 14 feet.
